Extract the Archive

Run GalaxySwapperV2.exe
Open the folder and double-click GalaxySwapperV2.exe. No admin rights needed. If SmartScreen appears, click "More info" → "Run anyway" — that prompt shows for any unsigned build, not just malicious ones.
Sync the Cosmetics Vault
On first launch it auto-downloads the full Fortnite cosmetics database (~30 MB). Takes 10–30 seconds depending on your line. Wait for the progress bar before searching.
Point to Your Fortnite Install
If prompted, navigate to your Fortnite directory — default C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite. The terminal needs this path to locate the asset files it swaps.
Search, Select, Swap
You're armed. Search any skin, click to preview, press Swap. Launch Fortnite through Epic as normal — your new cosmetic shows up immediately. Hit Restore Original anytime to revert.
Antivirus False-Positive — Is Galaxy Swapper Safe?
Some antivirus and Windows Defender setups may flag the Galaxy Swapper download (GalaxySwapperV2.exe) as suspicious. This is a known false positive — the Fortnite skin changer accesses and rewrites Fortnite asset files, a pattern AV heuristics sometimes mark as unusual. Galaxy Swapper V2 does not contain malware.
